This beautiful Stardust Obsidian sphere is mined and hand carved in Jalisco, Mexico from natural volcanic glass. Discovered in 2023, this unique variety of obsidian contains tiny inclusions of cristobalite, a mineral that forms within the cooling lava and creates a delicate star-like shimmer across the polished surface. When the light hits the sphere, these inclusions give the stone its distinctive “starlight” effect, making each piece completely unique.
